The Saboteur

“As a man thinketh in his heart, so is he.” Proverbs 23:7

These words have been spoken for many years, what does it mean?

If wanting to make changes in ourselves or our lives sounds so simple, why is it so difficult?

Herein lies the paradox you can find yourself in, why am I not experiencing the changes I desire?

Underneath the reasons for the difficulty to invoke change lies what is called the Saboteur.

This is one of the survival archetypes that we each possess as human beings. It is an energetic pattern, not a personality trait.

The Saboteur can be very sneaky and trick us into believing we are not capable of change.

The Saboteur cannot see clearly, it is the part of yourself that is consumed with doubt and the one that makes excuses why you can’t be, do or have what you want.

If you hear yourself saying ‘This is not reasonable’, ‘it doesn’t make sense’, ‘I don’t have enough time’, ‘I’m too overwhelmed’ or ‘I need more information before I can act’, you are in the shadow of the Saboteur.

Practice catching yourself each time this occurs and pay attention to your inner dialogue.

If you want to make changes to the health of your BodyMind and move into the ‘where’ and ‘what’ you want to be, whether that be in relationships or work, it doesn’t matter.

The language of the Saboteur is the same.

If you find yourself wanting proof, wanting certainty or evidence that it will work out or be perfect, you become your own skeptic, judge, and naysayer which automatically blocks any intuition you might have.

When I get in this cycle I become way too serious and I stand in my own way. Frustration and anxiety become my way of being instead of trusting the flow of life.

I can tend to be a perfectionist which is a major trap of the Saboteur.

There is a way out of the Sabetour’s Shadow!

First, you must notice when you step into it by paying attention to your language.

“As a man thinketh, so is he”

Start by thinking and saying…I am a creator, I am a master of time, I am a master of inspired action and I am always in the right place at the right time.

Feel and contemplate the words in your being to be true and make space for a shift in your life.

Create an even more powerful statement by aligning your physical body with your new thoughts.

This will create the cellular change needed to manifest something new in your life.

Activate a different way of being by getting out of your head and into your heart and gut-brain. Find your center with your breath and feel it go in and out of your body, connect to yourself.

Keeping your feet straight as you walk into your life with certainty, this is the first step.

Your feet indicate how you feel about where you are going. Are your feet going straight ahead or are you confused?

Make sure your head is held back and on top of your shoulders, that your neck is not bent forward pushing your head out in front of your body. This will keep you from getting ahead of yourself.

Unlock your knees and be more flexible, trust your movements. The knees represent being balanced within your sense of self.

Alignment in the Body and the Mind is where power comes from. Trust the full process of awareness you are in. Keep moving into your life in a healthy and powerful way.
